30th Annual OPUS Band Competition

K-State's Union Program Council is hosting a "battle of the bands" competition. Bands from around the area will be competing for cash prizes. The outdoor competition will be in Bosco Student Plaza. In case of inclement weather, OPUS will be inside the K-State Student Union.

Momma’s Boy Classroom Series

The owners of the former best house venue (Shawnee Manor) in Shawnee, Momma's Boy, comes to Manhattan for an in-studio session on Friday, October 7th. Hear their extremely fun indie garage pop with a hint of surf rock. Some former members of former Kansas City band, Rev Gusto, make up one of the most fun new bands in the KC area. Check out their single that released in April, "Cool Heat."

Funtabi Classroom Series

Manhattan band, Funtabi is joining us in our studios for another edition of the Classroom Series. This will be the second band from Manhattan to hit our airwaves directly from McCain Hall this semester. They bring a fun brand of garage-influenced pop punk. Julia Lucille Classroom Series

Austin dream folk artist, Julia Lucille, is coming to our studios for a Classroom Series.
