Bobby Sauder – Dark Empire Fairgrounds

Longtime member of Lawrence psychedelic pop outfit, Karma Vision, Bobby Sauder finally has released a solo full-length album for us to enjoy. If you’re fans of Karma Vision or No Magic (Ben Sauder’s project), you’ll no doubt love this record. Might as well give a shout out to Wild Eye as well because Ross Williams killed it as the engineer of this project, and fans of any of the above would love his music too.

The soothing and thought-provoking vocals pair perfectly with the careful strumming of his guitar and all the auxiliary instruments in the background. Contributions were made from many in the Whatever Forever circle including Christopher Luxem (artwork), Ben Sauder, and Mark Osman (Arc Flash, Psychic Heat, CS Luxem, Drug Dealer), all members of Karma Vision as well.

If you like psychedelic music, experimental folk, or any sort of combination of the two, please check it out and download it from the Whatever Forever Bandcamp. Pay attention to those other artists too – they’re amazing, and most have been to Manhattan themselves.
